Luther Warren, viola
Violinist and violist Luther Warren enjoys an emerging career as an active performer internationally. He has received numerous awards for his work and appeared as soloist with a variety of orchestras. His playing has been featured multiple times on National Public Radio and at such festivals as Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival, Taos School of Music, the International Holland Music Sessions, and Domain Forget International Music Festival. He has collaborated in performance with such artists as David Shifrin, Ida Kavafian, Steven Tenenbom, and Hsin-Yun Huang, as well as substituted as violist with the Borromeo String Quartet. During the summer of 2018 Luther can also be heard at Ravinia's Steans Music Institute, Perlman Music Program's Chamber Music Workshop, Thy Chamber Music Festival in Denmark, and Alderney Chamber Music Festival in the United Kingdom. Luther is currently completing his undergraduate degree at the New England Conservatory in Boston where he is a violin student of Miriam Fried and studies the viola with Martha Katz.
