Luther Warren, viola
Violinist and violist Luther Warren has been featured as a soloist with several orchestras and appeared multiple times on National Public Radio and at such festivals as Ravinia’s Steans Music Institute, Perlman Music Program’s Chamber Music Workshop, IMS Prussia Cove, Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival, Norfolk Chamber Music Festival, Taos School of Music, and the International Holland Music Sessions. He has collaborated in performance with such artists as David Shifrin, Colin Carr, Ida Kavafian, Steven Tenenbom, and Hsin-Yun Huang, and with composers Joan Tower, Aaron Jay Kernis, and Kati Agócs on performances of new and recent music. During the 2017-18 season, Luther substituted as violist for the Borromeo String Quartet. Luther has studied at the New England Conservatory in Boston with Donald Weilerstein, Miriam Fried, and Martha Katz.
